Dont have too much to add today. I did however come to a conclusion! Photography SHOULD NOT be a course taken online. The fact that we should be associated with piers that have the same interest and learn from them, is out the window online. The hands on experience is null and it becomes a task instead of a passion or interest or even a great learning experience. Maybe it is that I am older but, online you only learn what YOU yourself believe is good enough and who is there to tell you any different. All this money I pay and I am 59. I contact the instructors and they direct me to YOU TUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THIS. Needless to say I am not a happy camper right now but I am going to finish at LaGuardia Community. I visited and the photography department is awesome.

Happy New Year

Many of us have made New Year resolutions, I have for many years. This year I am first giving it up to God and praying for the strength, talent and will to make it happen. I have begun to write my book as for my art, yes I am an artist and great Photographer. I am owning my gifts and my talents.

Practice makes perfect. Think sometimes I am learning more from You tube than some of the instructors online. It is hard enough to take Photography for someone who has never done anything but point and shoot and draw and online is even harder if the teaching is not good.

Just finished a class in Photo History. I am new at this and I must say that after this class, I have changed my perspective and found a new respect for the art of photography. Looking forward to learning and creating. I think I had better brush up on my art as well. smile.
